The Communication and Cognitive Systems Lab is a research laboratory within the School of Communication at the Ohio State University.
Research in the lab is currently focused on three areas:
How do people make political decisions? What are the consequences of these decisions for democratic politics?
How does person-to-person communication facilitate or inhibit the spread of accurate or inaccurate political information? Under what conditions can interpersonal discussions improve or impair people's political knowledge?
How can we use eye movements as covert measures of important psychological processes (attention, memory, stereotyping) across different areas of communication research (e.g., political communication, science communication, health communication).
