Undergraduate research assistant

As an International Studies and Neuroscience double major, working as a research assistant in the Communication and Cognitive Systems Lab bridges the gap between both of my interests. Before joining the lab, I was a research assistant in the Cognitive Communication Sciences Lab under Dr. Richard Huskey, assisting with studies using fMRI imaging to monitor neurophysiological responses to game play. I am currently a third-year student and am aiming to go to graduate school in a program that challenges me to employ my two areas of study in unique and innovative ways, in order to further the fields of international relations and security. I am specifically interested in the intersections between culture, language, religion, politics, etc. and how these characteristics manifest in aberrant behavior on a global scale, i.e. terrorism.
